Description

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Development Team. As a Build & Release Engineer working within the Development organization, you will be responsible for owning and maintaining software builds across all Lending products and to provide scripted 1-click deployments to support different product lines. You will also lead a transformation of our existing infrastructure to a cloud-based approach for the same product lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day activities of the continuous build environment. This includes managing the tools and system resources, troubleshooting build issues to identify resources needed to correct problems. ? Management of source code, development streams, code merges, and release planning.
• Implement and enforce best practices for code promotion across the various environments (builds, approvals, release). Strong SDLC background in Agile/Iterative practices
• Assess and implement new tools, plugins, etc. that are necessary to improve the software engineering process.
• Assist in implementing new processes and procedures that are necessary to improve the software development process.
• Assist in developing and plugging-in the tools and processes into continuous integration development and release environment.
• Document the cross-functional processes and procedures.
• Build, provision, manage and maintain cloud platforms for Development and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field is preferred. ? Experience with DevOps practices is preferred. ? Experience or strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Exposure to Visual Studio
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging and management tools.
• Experience developing/debugging applications built upon the Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Able to organize and manage multiple priorities in order to achieve aggressive deadlines.
