Job Title :             Physical Design Consultant
Location :             Dallas, TX
Duration :             6-12 Months

 

Job Description:
Physical Synthesis expertise (preferably RTL Compiler – Physical/GENUS)
Try various strategies in order to achieve best PPA
Analyse synthesis results, identify structural and timing bottle necks and give constructive feedback to the RTL team
Customized Physical Implementation flows for optimal PPA (Performance, Power, Area); preferably Innovus
Optimal library selections (Density/Performance libraries, channel bias options, Vt variants)
Try smart switches in the tool and arrive at the most optimal results
Complete ownership of the blocks (till GDSII)
Block level floorplan expertise
High speed memory packing and controller placements

Understand the memory tiling strategies and make sure that the physical placements follow the architecture.
