"• Proficient in Big data tools technologies: • Hadoop • HDInsight • COSMOS • STORM, SPARK • Windows Azure • Very good programming skill writing code using: • C# • Pig and Hive • Python/ Scala • Should bring work experience of big data technologies • Working knowledge of Microsoft products and understanding of ITLC • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally • Willingness to work in team and to receive directions • Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing C#/python/pig scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing Hive queries, etc.). • Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis. • Work closely with Data Science team to integrate statistical models and algorithms into the production systems. • Develop, Maintain, Test and Evaluate big data solutions. • Support business decisions with adhoc analysis as needed. • Tune Hadoop solutions to improve performance and end-user experience. • Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for the selected solutions. • Must be able to meet and communicate with internal clients and data scientists • Understand requirements and transform the requirements to determine the technical feasibility • Participate in meetings • Have strong collaboration skill – create a trusted and cooperative environment through open communication of ideas to achieve the team's goal • Have strong communication skill – ability to convey the right information and influence other towards desired action either verbally or by written means • Onsite-offshore coordination through daily sync calls" Role Big Data Dev/ Dev Lead Mandatory Technical Skills "• Proficient in Big data tools technologies: • Hadoop • HDInsight • COSMOS • STORM, SPARK • Windows Azure • Very good programming skill writing code using: • C# • Pig and Hive • Python/ Scala"
