Web Applications Support Associate 

Location: MA.

Duration: 10 Months

Clinical Data Sciences Application Development is a small team developing web applications to improve the efficiency of clinical data analysis. Serving over 200 worldwide users, CDS Application Development team supports two large custom solutions and a handful of off the shelf software. Clinical Data Sciences is looking for a mid-level application support tech to provide user support. Candidate will be responsible for helping on-board users (setting up accounts, helping users through required steps), customer support (answering user questions), basic unit testing and some documentation. Candidate will coordinate account management oversight liaising with an offshore team and an application support analyst. 

The ability to interact with users is critical and strong interpersonal skills are highly desired. 
This position sits within the business, not in IT. 
This job requires regular 9-5 availability on US Eastern Time. 

Qualifications 
2-5 years of experience with Web Applications and a degree in Computer Science or related field. 
Skills 
• Strong knowledge of web applications (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and SQL 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong written skills; able to communicate with users through email, update documentation, write test scripts 
• Familiarity with Linux scripting 
• Experience with Unit/Black Box Testing 
• Familiarity with SAS software is a plus 
• Familiarity with Clinical trials is a plus
