Job Title: CA Siteminder& IAM Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Hughes Landing West, TX
Duration : 6+ months
Rate : $55/hr on C2C
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE WORK GROUP
Middleware Engineering and Technical Support Analysts provide middleware (SiteMinder, WebSphere, JBoss, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft, etc.) for critical server infrastructure. The Middleware ETS team supports the majority of ExxonMobil's internet and intranet server infrastructure. Analysts typically begin in a Level 3 / Technical support role (working ticket queues for internet/intranet/server) and rotate into an Engineering role dedicated to projects and viewed as subject matter experts. One platform supported is our "External User Authentication Service", which allows external users to authenticate into our public DMZ and access internal applications by routing through web servers in the DMZ.
BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS
Work with project teams on External Authentication platform projects:
Design, Engineer, & Upgrade existing CA product implementation (IdentityMinder / Siteminder / ADLDS / Wily). Able to work as lead on project from requirements gathering to implementation.
Add new functionality to existing IAM & SSO platform (automated identity & access management for provisioning of new identities, Authminder, Federation services)
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
A. Position Specific Skills (Must-have):
Longevity in recent roles. I am looking for someone who has demonstrated that they can stay with a company for 3+ years, I instantly shy away from candidates who I see changing jobs every 1-2 years.
IAM Technology: preferred Sailpoint Identity IQ (kicking off a project to integrate SailPoint IIQ with CA Identity Manager for automated provisioning/ de-provisioning.
CA Security Product Suite knowledge, our external authentication service, specifically:
Siteminder aka SSO
IdentityMinder akaIdentityManager
Authminder aka Strong Auth / Advanced Auth / Arcot
AD Federation services with Siteminder SPS
Wily (used to monitor the platform)
Technologies on which this service runs:
Active Directory / ADLDS (Active Directory Lightweight)
Microsoft IIS (including ARR)
Red Hat JBoss
Networking / DNS / Network Security
Experience with engineering & designing high available and site to site failover platforms/applications
Client / Server Technologies
Understanding of advanced computing concepts (e.g., databases, scripting, operating systems, computer hardware components)
Must be self-motivated and comfortable with remote supervision and change
Experience in some type of Engineering / Design role for infrastructure web applications
Verbal communication skills for consulting
Written communication for technical documentation writing
B. Skills considered an advantage (Nice-to-have):
Previous web development experience
Advanced security concept knowledge

External relationship management (vendor/case management)
