Position:     Data Architect W/ Financial Domain
Location:    Monterey Park, CA
Duration:   12+ Months

Required:-

10+ Years overall experience.
Know dimensional data warehousing

Be able to prepare mapping specs

Strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint esp.)

Strong ER/Win user

Strong writing skills, esp. when it comes to explaining data testing results or design alternatives

Ability to produce data flow diagrams to depict data processing functionality
Conduct data profiling

Write the DDL (including GRANTs, synonyms, etc.)

Develop a space estimate and partitioning strategy

Determine indexing needs

Create/enhance data model

Create the CM in HP SM

Promote the code to DEV

Unit test data in DEV

Document the unit test results in DEV

Promote the code to TST

Unit test the data in TST

Document the results in TST

Create the CM document (implementation plan, etc.)
