JOB Position:

Role: BOBJ technical Lead

Location: Melville, NY

Duration:6 months

 

Job summary:

BO Technical lead for a migration project involving  migration from BO 3.1 to BO 4.1. Reporting is based on BW as data source so development/debug experience is must.

Must be hands-on in terms of dealing with day to day issues and working with business and power user for issue resolution.

Need to work in onsite-offshore model.

 

Job responsibilities

1. Design/develop/debug BO 3.1 universe and reports based on OLAP BW

2. Design/develop/debug BO 4.1 universe and reports based on OLAP BW

3. Work with business and power users for issue resolution and solution design

4. Experience with SAP BW Query designer and Analyzer must.

5. Daily/Weekly Status reporting on project progress.

6. Onsite-Offshore coordination and leading handshake calls

7. Familiarity with CMS and basic administration (security roles, universe connection, server health etc)

8. Guide offshore team on issue resolution and bug-fixing

9. Experience with setting up BO schedules

10. Experience with MS office tools such as Power point, word and excel.
