- Regularly launch products and services based on your work and be a creative and integral part of making these a success.
| Responsibilities | - Work closely with developers on a project team to be a part of various product initiatives including marketwatch.com, Barron's, wsj.com (The Wall St Journal), and core infrastructure that powers financial markets data.
- Participates and reports status in scrums
| Skills & Experience | Your skills: - Strong understanding of test/behavior driven (TDD/BDD) development
- Experience writing unit tests
- Experience with writing automated testing scripts
- Experience with Cucumber language is a plus
- Strong understanding of software best practices as it applies to web application development
- Experience with web based technologies with a combination of the following: NODE, NPM, HTML, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.Net MVC, PHP, IIS, WCF, REST, JSON
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies (SCRUM)
- Understanding of service oriented architecture
- Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter that is able to collaborate actively with others in cross functional teams
