ETL Developer (ODI)

Overview:
This position is responsible for the design, implementation and support of ETL solutions that are responsive to the organization's growing business intelligence needs. Develop ETL programs using Oracle Data Integrator tools that result in high performance and quality data loads to the Oracle data warehouse. Maintain ETL solutions that are current with the latest ODI features and follow industry best practices for ETL activities.
Responsibilities:
· Design Mappings for both E-LT and ETL scenarios by applying best practices for integration mapping design
· Perform ETL development that includes implementing lookups, combining multiple datasets, change data capture, slowly changing dimensions, and ODI data store partitioning.
· Develop and implement variables that include variable scoping, integration with Object Properties, application to topology objects, setting and tracking variables as startup parameters
· Develop and implement ODI security policies that include LDAP for external authentication, generic and non generic profiles
· Develop and maintain ODI integration with EDI tools, web services and JSON files
Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Business Information/Business Administration is required
Experience: Four years' experience covering the following areas:
· Experience designing and deploying Data Warehousing solutions
· Experience in integrating multiple applications sources
· Design and implement Extract, Transformation and LOAD (ETL) processes, programs and scripts
· Experience in gathering business requirements, developing technical specifications per requirements
· Healthcare experience and related business knowledge is preferred
Skills:
· Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 10/11G expertise
· SQL expertise
· Extensive experience with ETL scenarios, ODI administration, data profiling
· Data Warehouse expertise
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Excellent analytical skills
Abilities:
· Ability to troubleshoot and manage problems independently
· Ability to integrate multiple inter-related aspects of the system for a comprehensive approach to design
· Ability to work collaboratively with users to understand business requirements
· Ability to learn new technologies
· Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
· Highly self-motivated and directed
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
· Strong customer service orientation
Ability to develop and implement solutions for standard and adhoc reporting with COTS solutions
