Job Description
Senior Tester needed to test a new OTT service which will deliver Video playback on connected devices such as Web, Smart TVs, mobile devises and game stations. Will be working on testing to deliver the OTT platform including areas like content ingestion, encoding and digital rights management. CDN management, streaming and quality of service
The successful candidate will have a strong testing Background with deep technical expertise. Tester experience in related industry IPTV & VOD. Have excellent oral and written communication skills being able to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals. Experience of working with Agile and participating in Scrums will be added advantage.
The essential skills for these positions are
Proficient in Automation Testing using Selenium with Javascript
Manual Testing experience
Strong Functional Testing experience
IPTV, Technical Senior Tester, Embedded Video, STB, Video Playback testing experience
Candidate MUST have experience of testing OTT IPTV VoD EST platform and mobile applications
The desired skills & experience are
Experience in writing test plans, test scripts Both system & E2E, defining test data and leading UAT sessions.
Testing User Stories as part of an agile methodology
Comfortable designing test environments and strategies.
Managing Test environments, test devices, OS versions required for regression testing
Enterprise Tester, JIRA - Defect Management and reporting
Full Test Life Cycle Experience of IPTVVoD platform, mobile applications on iOS, Android and Smart TV
Must have IPTVVoD platform testing experience.
Must have experience working in Agile and Scrum and experience of BDD,TDD
Must have strong leadership skills to manage work stream
Good to have Selenium , Frank with Cucumber & web technologies experience
Good to have experience of Objective-C, HTML JavaScript, Cocoa, Cocoa Touch is required, along with experience of Test Driven Development techniques
ISEB OR ISTQB preferable Manage
Test analyst and mentor them.
Experience in technical functional testing of devices such as
Acquisition & Presentation of AV media via IP & OTT, Software Management, Encoding, Content Discovery.
Experience in a scripting language such as Selenium, Javacript, Python, Ruby or Perl Familiar with video & audio encoding standards
