Position – Data Analyst/Business Analyst
Location – Dallas,TX
Duration – 6+ Month Contract
Responsibilities
- Candidate will be responsible for supporting clients through loading and analyzing data.
- Individual will retrieve data, QA/ review, prepare/ transform and load client data from various sources into internal system using ETL tools.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data based on professional standards. Process data and convert it to a compliance product.
- Determine the accuracy and completeness of the compliance product and perform additional quality assurance procedures. Prepare the product for delivery. Perform other related duties, as required.
- Gather requirements for ETL developers and document data specific processes.
- Research internal and external client inquiries and facilitate information data requests.
- Assist in testing of EY internal systems.
- Share knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery. Facilitate communications and provide ample assistance to team members. Leverage technology to continually maximize productivity.
- Contribute to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters development.
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an associate's degree in a related field and 2-3 years of tax-related or other relevant experience
- ETL tools or T-SQL experience beneficial but not required
- Experience with data processing, data analytics, and file transfer methods
- Dedication to quality and accuracy
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work on a variety of tasks/ projects at the same time
- Commitment to proactively following through on all internal and external client requests.
- Excellent teaming skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
