Required Skills
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Code Releases
- SQL Servers Upgrades/Migrations/Decommissions/Patching
- Database creation/migrations/backups/restores
- Architecture of MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
- Configuring and Troubleshooting Cluster environment
- Installing and Configuring of MS SQL
- Patch installation / Roll Back .
- Worked in Database Migration
- Candidates having Database Administrators certification will be preferred
- Must have experience of managing high transaction databases in clustered environment (more than 6000 transaction per second)
- Excellent communication skills are must
- Setup and Configuration (Clustered environment)
- Recoverability & Integrity
Desirable
- Query Tuning/Execution Plans - should be completely comfortable browsing a query execution plan and understand how to use it to identify opportunities for optimisation
- Concurrency/Row Versioning - understanding of potential lock escalations, deadlocks, isolation levels etc is vital.
- CLR
- TSQL
