Duration: 12 Months

Job Description

• Minimum 7 years industry experience in embedded firmware architecture, design and implementation including:
  
• Expertise in embedded C/C++ development.
  
• Experience with embedded RTOS systems.
  
• Solid understanding of good firmware design principles and coding standards (Embedded C, MISRA2004/2012, &hellip ).
  
• Expertise with embedded development tools (ex. PL-Lint, Klocwork, ... etc.) and best practices for safe/secure software development.
  
• Strong knowledge of embedded hardware systems (uP, FPGA, CPLD Memories, etc.)
  
• Solid history of performance on several embedded projects with complete development life cycle.
  
• Communication Protocol experience.
  
• BSP experience a plus.
  
• Experience with USB, Serial communications, CAN, MODBUS, Zigbee, power metering nice to have.
  
• Experience with XML and encryption nice to have.
  
• Experience working with Subversion, Clearcase, and Clearquest nice to have.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills will also be needed for documentation creation, discussions, correspondence etc.
  
• Experience working as a member of multi-site, multi-cultural teams nice to have.
  

Mandatory Skills: RTOS, Embedded and System Software Diagnostics-BSP, Embedded and System Software, Semiconductor Software
Desirable Skills: C++
