Job Title : IBM Netezza BI/DW Developer

Location : Virginia Beach, VA

Duration : 12+ Months Contract

Job description:

·         Strong Netezza Data Warehouse ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) experience. 

·         Ideally, interested in candidates with ELT (Extract/Load/Transform) experience, which is simply processing of data after loading within Netezza.

·         Strong SQL Scripting

·         Strong UNIX Shell Scripting

·         Strong Database Design Skills

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Netezza background required

·         Experience in IBM Eclipse / SVN a plus

·         Experience in Business Objects a plus

 

Candidate needs to be able to perform the following:

·         Gather user requirements

·         Design database schema

·         Design, code, test ETL SQL scripts in Unix Shell
