Job Title : Senior Salesforce Developer

Location : St. Petersburg, FL

Duration : 3-6+ Months

Start: ASAP

Mode of interview will consist of Phone, followed by Face-to-Face.

 

Position Summary:

As a member of the Financial Systems team, the Sr. Salesforce Developer will help deliver robust systems that scales with the company's growth and provide solutions that integrate the functions of Sales, Support, Finance and Development. The candidate will also be responsible for planning and developing new classes, batch apex, visualforce pages, triggers and troubleshooting existing code. 

• Requirements gathering, designing, coding, debugging, performance analysis, packaging and deployment to the customer's real-life business application on the Force.com platform and Salesforce.com's enterprise cloud computing platform
• Work directly with customers to define requirements
• Work as a member of a project team building new functionality and enhancing existing functionality
• Design and deploy high quality, scalable code
• Design and develop integrations between client's applications and other systems, as may be required by customers
• Ensure that documentation of application code, as well as application use and flow, is accurate and well written
• Support development of internal Salesforce system

 

Required Skills:

• Solid Salesforce.com experience with APEX API and APEX Triggers.
• Experience in Data migrations from relation Databases to Salesforce.
• Experience using ETL tools like Data loader.
• Understanding of web technologies like HTML,XML, JQuery, Javascript, JSON  and web services.
• Program fluently in Apex and have a solid understanding of Apex classes, VisualForece pages, Web services and Sites. 
• Strong Experience with Agile Methodology and Implementation and VisualForce.
• Confidently work off existing code
• Advanced understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects, junction objects, and other model items
• Understanding of the Relational databases (SQL, Oracle etc..).
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and client relationship experience
• Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven environment

 

Education and Experience:

• At least 5 years of IT experience with 3-5 years of Salesforce.com experience developing AppExchange Apps, SOQL, APEX and VisualForce
• Bachelor's degree required
• Prior consulting work preferred
• Additional programming experience preferred
• Having Salesforce Certification is a bonus (not needed)
