Title: Liferay Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

• 4+ years of experience in Liferay Enterprise Portal Development (Themes, Layouts, Hooks ,Ext-Plugins) & Administration, JSR168/286 Specifications.
• Liferay Portal certified is a big plus
• Strong experience in any MVC framework preferably in Spring, Hibernate, JSP
• Developing web services, json or RestFul integration.
• Should be experienced in Workflows and approval management using  Liferay
• Good experience of web design, HTML standards and XML.
• Experience on Weblogic or Websphere, Tomcat Apache back end integration.
• Should have done at least two end-to-end Liferay project execution and experience in creating Hooks & Themes
• Experience with scripting languages Java Script, JQuery & AJAX, etc.
• Experience in multi-language portal development
• Experience in Hibernate or any other ORM Framework
• Knowledge in SQL
• Other Experience in portals is a big plus

Mandatory Skills: Liferay Portal Server, JSP - Java Server Pages Web Dynpro, Java-J2EE, UML - Unified Modeling Language, Performance Optimization and Tuning, Portals, OOAD and Design Patterns 

Desirable Skills: Tomcat, HTML
