Position: Physical Design Engineer

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Duration: 6 Months+

 

Description:

·         Well versed with the complete RTL to GDS design flow for Hierarchical designs.

·         Experience in synthesis flow with involvement in multiple tape outs.

·         Strong hands-on experience with Floor planning, power planning, placement, clock tree synthesis , timing optimization .

·         Participated in the top/block level timing closure (STA) of multi-million gate ASICs

·         Expertise  in ICV based DRC-LVS closure (14nm experience would be plus ) .

·         Good understanding of  Reliability verification checks  EM , IR  etc

·         EDA Tool Expertise : DC-compiler, IC-compiler, PrimeTime-SI, StarXT, ICV, Conformal LEC , Redhawk .

·         Proficiency in scripting language, such as, Perl, Tcl, make is required. Experience in methodology or flow development/automation would be a plus.

·         Basic knowledge of standard cell libraries.
