* Having a sound understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) best practices.
* Successful delivery of BI information to the entire organization.
* Designing and implementing of a reporting shared service. 
* Defining reporting approaches, best practices, system design, tuning, and performance.
* Data cube loading, security, irretrievability, and maintenance. 
* Relational structures.
* Dimensional data modeling.
* Structured query language (SQL) skills
