Position: Service Now Consultant
Location: SFO, CA
Duration: 6+ months

 

Technical Requirements

·         8 years of IT experience, preferably 3 years working in Service Now

·         Proven success in working in ServiceNow for enterprise level projects

·         Knowledge and understanding of software architecture principles as applies to solutions and application architectures, specifically for portals, web sites and systems integration projects

·         Relational database expertise such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.

·         Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)

·         JavaScript

·         ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification a plus

 

Job Duties

·         Participate in design, code, test reviews cycles

·         Ensures project scope and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters

·         Provide detailed architecture analysis and design, and direction on the development activities

·         Provide leadership in gaining insight on functional and non-functional requirements related to technical delivery of the project

·         Perform ServiceNow implementation tasks including but not limited to: configuration, integration, custom programming

·         Transform functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks

·         Gathers and interprets system requirements and develops detailed system specifications

·         Recommend improvements or changes to technical and functional designs where appropriate

·         Ensure that technical designs meet functional design requirements as well as maintain the integrity and sustainability of the application

·         Complete software development based on functional and technical design specifications

·         Complete configuration and implementation tasks based on functional and technical design specifications
