Sr .Net Developer

Metro Detroit area, MI

1 + year contract

 

Please read the JD fully. Minimum 8+ years experience! Must have experience in TFS, Bootstrap, Oracle. Should provide proof of visa if we ask ! 

 

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

·         Providing technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation.

·         Mentoring four (3) or more developers of various skills, strengths and experience.

·         Providing accurate estimates for delivery of functional requirements.

·         Defining site or system architecture.

·         Identifying opportunities for process improvements.

·         Performing technical design reviews and code reviews.

·         Ensuring that all SDLC processes are followed by the development team.

·         Leading the effort to implement coding standards.    

·         Leading the effort to migrate legacy systems to the .NET framework

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

· Minimum 8 years of commercial product delivery experience with ASP.NET, including C# using MVC.

·    Applicants must be comfortable with advanced SQL syntax, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. 

·       Minimum 8 years of experience as a programmer/developer.

·       Experience developing SharePoint customizations.

·    Expert knowledge of distributed systems, shared infrastructure and Web-based applications. 

·    In depth experience with Microsoft SQL server 2005 (2008 experience a plus) including creating/managing tables, authoring stored procedures, triggers, indexes and table relationships.

·      Demonstrated design, analytical and problem solving abilities.

·     Good verbal and written communication skills.

·     Oracle/.NET integration experience highly desired.

·      Team Foundation Server experience highly desired.

·    Advanced knowledge and experience in XML, HTML, Twitter Bootstrap, JavaScript, CSS (particularly jQuery), JSON.

·     Knowledge of Agile, iterative development and more traditional waterfall project delivery methodologies. 

·       Visual Studio 2012 and 2013 experience highly desired

·        nHybernate understanding preferred

·       Strong organizational & communication skills.

·    Bachelor's degree or higher in Technology, Engineering or related field.
