Role: Lead Java/J2EE Developer with SOA & ESB Exp.

Location: Herndon, VA 

Duration: 18 to 24 months. 

 

Developer III Specialized performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.

 

Special Knowledge and Skills: 

•       Looking for a strong Development Lead with significant experience in architecture, design and developing web applications and web services 

•       Must have minimum of 10 years of experience with Java, J2EE, JDK 1.6 and above 

•       Must have experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies. Experience as a Scrum Master is a plus. 

•       Must have hands-on experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Enterprise Messaging 

•       Must have prior experience in leading and/or managing a team 

 

Must have strong experience using the following technologies: 

•       Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Web Services and Hibernate 

•       EasyMock, JUnit, Spring Test, SOAP UI and Selenium 

•       ANT, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins 

•       Subversion, ClearCase, and ClearQuest 

•       UNIX and shell scripting 

•       SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, WSDL, XSD 

•       SQL, PL/SQL, Sybase and Oracle 

•       Must have strong programming and analytical skills 

 

Experience with any of the following is a plus: 

•       Gemfire, TIBCO EMS, Business Works, Sonar, CSS, Production Support of Business Critical Applications, HTML, JSP, Java Script with third party frameworks such as JQuery, BackBone, SlickGrid, Require.js, Jake, Skylus and Node
