Position: SAP HANA ARCHITECT
Location: FRISCO, TX
Duration: 6+ months
Experience: 10 +YEARS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Candidate must have a deep understanding and demonstrable knowledge of SAP and related systems in large scale projects.*
· Solid understanding and experience on SAP Product suite.
· Experience of working on SAP HANA Suite and Architecture is a plus.
· Experience of integrating an on premise ERP with cloud SaaS products would be useful.
· Some Experience in SAP Basis and a good understanding of this track.
· Ability to work with multiple computing platforms, including hardware and software.
· Work with the Functional and Technical teams to ensure a fully integrated solution.
· Lead the Technical Design Authority.* Implement a robust design assurance process.
· Work closely with the IT Teams and external partners.
· 10-12 years of SAP experience.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
SAP HANA:
· BI - Pre-requisteShould have OLAP design knowledge.
· Should have good experience on business analytics and the use of analytic appliShould be highly experienced and fluent in all aspects of SAP BI development and all its front-end tools .
· Should also have hands-on development experience using the latest version of SAP BI (Net Weaver 2004s version 7) and specifically the latest range of front-end tools including Report Designer, Web Application Designer, Web Analyser (via Portal),and Query Designer - including new features and possibilities.
· Should have experience of projects taking data from both SAP and non-SAP systems and knowledge of process chain monitoring, tracking problems in loading, debugging queries (RSRT) etc.
· Should have technical knowledge of SAP R3 4.7 and/or ECC6 (erp2005)and module based specific knowledge of tables, transactions, I related areas etc within SAP for purposes of testing, debug.
· Should have knowledge of data segregation, datavisulization and ETL process.
BI Analysis and Solution design:
· Experience in BI/OLAP framework definition, Architecture, evaluation and comparison of tools.
· Experience in preparation of solution framework, whitepapers and knowledge / competency documents.
· Experience in Data modelingeither as a main Data Modeler or as a designer.
· Interface with BI/OLAP product vendors, customers and technical support groups and represent in various internal and external forums.
· Know the latest trends in BI/OLAP and gathered best practices for BI & DWH practice.
· Experience in Consulting and Solution Definition for at least one large BI program or solution4+ years' experience in BI/OLAP consulting or experience in Design & Implementation of 3 BI/OLAP development projects.
DW Data Architecture:
· Should be able to develop technological solution of any complexity independently for the intended delivery competency to meet business requirements of a department
· Should be able to make effective use of available best practices and standards
· Experience Range : 1-3 years of experience in developing technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.
Solution Architecture:
· . Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements.
· 2. Identify the design areas and the integration point between these areas (at least few of the design areas). Effectively track the integration points in the design to ensure there are no omissions.
· 3. Work with the design team to realize the architecture by providing suggestions on design options.
· 4. Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design teams.
· 5. Work with client architecture teams in- defining overall solution architecture - procure the enterprise standards that need to be followed - validate the non-functional requirements
· 6. Present the architecture and design to necessary stake holders as required.
· 7. Working experience with common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)
· 8. Must have worked inatleast one medium complex architecture
Branding and Thought Leadership:
Interact with Partners, Vendors, External Forums for branding and thought leadership in the area of specialization. Publish white papers, conduct Knowledge sharing sessions at WT level, advisory sessions to customers Innovative solutions, Defining clear roadmap and strategies, Competitive analysis and product marketing positioning
