Position:  Functional testing (Mainframe)

Location:  TORRANCE CA

Duration:  3 - 6 months (Extension Possible)

 

JD

At least 5 years of experience in Mainframe testing & STLC (Understand Testing requirements, Develop Test strategy & Test plan, Review test scenarios & scripts, Prepare Test Closure report,  Defect management)

Good knowledge in Mainframe technologies – JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC and tools like File-Aid, Changeman

Analysis of business requirements

Co-ordinate Reviews with Business SME/User

Prepare / review Test strategy, Scenarios, cases & Results

Communicating status to business team

Attend defect triage calls

Manage risks & issues closely
