Direct Client,
.Net and C# with Rapid Application Development (RAD)
Location: Nashville, TN
Contract: 1+ Years
Note: Candidate should be having experience in Rapid Application Development (RAD).
Must Have Skills: C#, .Net, SQL Server, MS Visual Studio, RAD
The candidate is required to have strong MS SQL Server 2008 experience coupled with .Net development skills in C# in the context of Windows Applications and Services. These skills will be leveraged via a shared RAD application platform that contains libraries for most common technical functionality and is supported by the Global Production Services (GPS) team.
The RAD developer is required to be self sufficient, work independently on projects, work closely with the business, analyse and spec the requirements for the projects (where a business analyst is not available), provide a technical spec, develop, and carry the project through UAT, regression and successful release. At the same time, the candidate will need to work closely with other members of the RAD team, conform to development standards in the team, seek advice and equally contribute to other projects, and confine deployments to the shared RAD application platform.
The candidate should have sound experience at all stages of the development lifecycle from analysis and design through to testing and release. Developers typically take responsibility for a development task or project and see it through to completion. This requires a broader range of skills than just pure development and makes for a more interesting and challenging role
