Job Title: Hadoop Architect 

Location: Atlanta , GA

Duration : 6+ Months

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing senior level architecture expertise in delivering and implementing the Big Data solutions/projects which includes architecture, design, coding and creating reference architectures.  

As a dynamic and talented Big Data architect, you will have proven hands on experience leading architectural design of large scale, high availability Big Data solution. 

You'll understand the technical opportunities and limitations of the various technologies at your disposal and will be able to specify the tailored Big Data Ecosystem for the recommended solutions. 

And also responsible for supporting the development, maintenance & communication processes and standard practices relating to design, development and implementation of application solutions and patterns. 

Need to have strong hands-on experience on Hadoop technology stack.

Basic Requirements:

Must have 2+ years Hadoop-related architecture and hands-on experience

Must have experience building Hadoop cluster either with Hortonworks HDP2.1 or Cloudera CDH 4.5

Must have a minimum on of one project experience in standing up cluster in cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure)

Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (Sqoop, Pig, Hive, Map/Reduce, Spark and Shark)

Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Java, Linux, Apache and Python) 

Experience in designing solutions for multiple large data warehouses with a good understanding of cluster and parallel architecture
