REQUIREMENT DETAILS:
Position: .Net developer
Location: Brooklyn, NY (locals required)
Rate: $50/hr on c2c all incl.
Preferably candidates local to NJ,NY or CT. Only one round of F2F interview would be there. No telephone or skype interviews.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree (Masters degree preferred) from an accredited college or university in a technology related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience of full life-cycle application development and at least 4 years focused purely on application system and code-level security.
- Expert-level knowledge of the detection, exploit, and prevention of software vulnerabilities (i.e., SQL Injection, XSS, buffer overflows) as well as emerging platform vulnerabilities (e.g., in Flash, AJAX)
- Extensive experience reviewing source code and assisting developers in closing vulnerabilities.
- Extensive experience performing active black-box penetration testing against web applications above and beyond the use of commercial products or pre-existing scripts.
- Strong enterprise application development experience in both .NET and Java/J2EE.
- Experience writing application security policies and standards and training developers in their use.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, experienced at communicating with developers as well as technical and non-technical management.
- Experience in the public sector and/or education highly preferred
