Title: Build Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: Long Term-1Yr
Skills Required:Strong C# & Build Engineering skills.
Detailed JD / Responsibility
Primary responsibilities:
• Execution, monitoring and troubleshooting of daily builds
• Execution, monitoring and troubleshooting of packaging
• Debug build issues and resolve conflicts with Build branches
• Development of build and packaging automation and tools
• Forward and Reverse Integration of Code between different branches.
• Writing tools to ease the day-to-day tasks
• Tracking and reporting metrics
Key Qualifications:
• 4+ Years Good experience with source code control tools (like TFS) and processes
• 3+ Years Good Programming experience in C#.NET, SQL & PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to Debug builds issues. Build error debugging, classifications.
• Ability to Resolve conflicts with build branches and help with RI and FI and build on an ongoing basis.
• Good Knowledge of configuration management
• Very good problem solving and logical thinking
• Detail oriented, self-critical, clear communication, ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both h/w and s/w required
