Sr. QA Specialist

4+ month contract with extension. The Client highly prefers local candidates as there will be face to face interview after the phone or those who will come for the face to face at their own expenses

Orlando, FL-phone interview first and after that will be F2F interview

 

Qualifications:
• B.S. in Technology related field • Certification as CSQA or equivalent, preferred • Experience in test automation in a UNIX environment • Familiar with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases • Working knowledge of HP LoadRunner • Excellent interpersonal and interview skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate exceptional decision-making, organizational and time management skills • Demonstrate competencies in quality assurance • Analyzes requirements, develops testing documentation, such as traceability matrix, test plans, test cases and scripts - specifically using LoadRunner • Analyzes technical documentation to develop testing requirements and methods • Designs, administers and/or executes load, spike, scalability, and performance testing • Automates test scripts, establishes repeatable testing processes • Configures testing platforms and maintains data in testing environments • Conduct peer reviews to monitor overall adherence to established standards and processes • Provides review and sign off for quality assurance during the change management process • Documents acceptance criteria to support client acceptance • Participates in defect reviews, recommending solutions; documents defects and other findings
