Duration:  6+Months of contract

///This role will focus on Data Conversion from Oracle to SQL and Oracle to Excel/CSV.///
 
Job Description
The Application Developer may be required to perform the following tasks:
Creating data conversion scripts. 
Able to identify and communicate conversion issues to business analyst
Responsible for documentation related to conversion.
Troubleshoot and correct conversion issues.
Rotating Evening and Weekend on-call support.
Work as part of a larger conversion team.

 

The following technical skills will be helpful for the candidate to hit the ground running:
SQL
T-SQL
PL/SQL
SQL Server
Oracle Database
Foxpro

 

Nice to haves:
Oracle Reports
Oracle Forms
SSRS
SSIS
Crystal Reports or Jasper Reports
Experience with Weblogic Application Server / Oracle Application Server
Experience with Microsoft IIS
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with Windows Server
Experience with Linux/Unix
Experience in construction.
Soft Skills - communication, project and time management, willing to learn new technologies, etc.

 

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
Certifications in Microsoft Office Applications and/or Server Technology.
