Job Details:

Title: Data Analyst

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Duration: 2+ yrs

Rate:$40/hr

 

Need Local Candidates Face-to-Face is Mandatory

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least a baccalaureate degree in a related field; a minimum of 2 years’ experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; excellent writing and communication skills
experience writing technical and user documentation, specifications, user manuals
experience showing excellent command of SQL and understanding of relational databases
experience in data analytics / reporting
experience showing ability to perform independent research, data collection, and analysis
use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Visio

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent interpersonal skills in working with technical and non-technical personnel.
Experience with NYCDOE student data systems (e.g. ATS, STARS, eScholar, etc.)
Knowledge of best practices in data analysis and reporting
