Job Title :  RECOVERY ANALYSTS ( Local’s )

Location  : Mid-Town Atlanta, GA

Duration  :     12+ Months

Interview :     in-person interview after a phone screen. 

This job will have the following responsibilities:

The Recovery Analysts will work as part of a distributed team to provide day-to-day and after-hours operational support for a global enterprise backup and recovery environment consisting of CommVault Simpana. The Recovery Analysts will be on an on-call rotation every 7-8 weeks.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma
· 5+ years of solid backup and recovery experience
· 3-5 years’ experience working with CommVault Simpana in an enterprise environment
· 3-5 years of experience with UNIX (HP-UX / AIX) and Linux
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

· Undergraduate Degree
· Hardware: HP X9000 IBRIX, HP 6550 EVA storage arrays, IBM 3584 Tape Library
· OS familiarity: HP-UX, Linux, AIX, VMware, Windows Server OS
· Scripting familiarity: Korn, VB
· Database familiarity: SQL, Oracle, DB2 and Sybase Other Recovery Technologies: HP Data Protector.
