Skill Set Requirements:
15+ years AIX experience to current.
15+ years Architecture level experience with AIX in enterprise environments.
10+ years Korn Shell programming
5+ years any other programming language.
10+ years build, configuration and administration of HACMP/PowerHA clusters.
10+ years in one or more other Unix or Unix variants.
10+ years in administration, execution and architecture of DR environments.
5+ years web programming
5+ years Web Server administration
10+ years of Systems Security and system hardening principles.
15+ years in system build for AIX primary and other platforms and systems for integration.
7+ years installation and configuration of VIO Servers.
5+ years TCP/IP principles and understanding including tcp dump analysis
10+ years practical systems forensic analysis
5+ years of VLAN, VLAN tagging, VLAN Trunking and
ITIL Certified Required
Change Management Required
7+ years Proven Leadership abilities with a track record of success.
10+ years in audit compliance and audit principles.
10+ years with storage/file system replication technologies.
Proven ability to identify and successfully execute on cost saving initiatives in technology.
Prefer CATE certification.
15+ years Proven Expert problem solving skills
10+ years Linux
5+ years SELinux
Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time under tight deadlines.
Able to communicate and lead presentations before technical teams as well as Senior Management.
Duties:
Provide architectural design support to projects and operational teams.
Both Lead and provide hands on technical builds of environments.
Challenge and support designs handed off from other teams to implement.
Maintain Policies, Procedures and process and enforce the rules to ensure that all are followed for the customer.
Ensure that the security of the environment is maintained.
Maintain detailed daily process and activities documents.
Document any and all changes to all systems and maintain or create build and turnover documents for operations and the client.
Create knowledge transfer training sessions for new technologies.
Ability to effectively manage in a multi-vendor environment from the clients point of view and on the clients behalf.
Advanced debugging of issues in a timely manner.
Providing critical support in customer outage situations.
Ensure audit requirements are always met.
