Backend Java developer (HOLT)
Location : San Francisco , CA
Duration : 12 Months+ Contract
(BSCS or similar + 2 years or MSCS + 1 year professional experience)
The work for this position includes troubleshooting, debugging and improving high-performance deferred task system and helping develop plans and software to help with a live datacenter move. Requirements: Java development experience (minimum 2 years), relational DB (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, Oracle), non-relational DB (e.g. Redis, memcache, Voldemort, Mongo, CouchDB), Linux development (minimum 2 years), Bash/shell scripting, basic Linux system administration skills, solid understanding of TCP, UDP data structures. Desired experience: development of fault-tolerant and highly available systems.
Position 2:
Backend Java developer (Cerberus)
Location : San Francisco , CA
Duration : 12 Months+ Contract

Desired experience: development of fault-tolerant, highly available systems, experience with systems that coordinate operations across across unreliable links.

(BSCS or similar + 2 years or MSCS + 1 year professional experience)
The work for this position includes building and improving data extraction and transformation tools and reports for business, engagement, personalization and operational information for relational, structured and unstructured data sources. The developer in this role will need to have good communication and listening skills to understand the questions posed by the business team and to work with application developers to correctly interpret renormalized OLTP and log data. Requirements: Java development experience (minimum 2 years), Linux development (minimum 2 years), bash/shell/python scripting, basic Linux system administration skills, MySQL, Postgres or Oracle experience (minimum 2 years, MySQL strongly preferred), experience coding ETL tools in Java, strong relational modeling skills, and data warehouse development. Desired experience: Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Pentaho, Tableau or similar analytics/reporting systems.
