OVERVIEW

 

·      This project is a Proof of Concept: (POC) to start.

·      duties are centered about a software product called Tableau.    They need a Senior client facing consultant who has a command of Tableau,

·      They will be deployed to a Law firm in the loop.

·      Assist customers with analyzing complex data sets, and developing prototypes and production systems to help find trends and patterns in data, present results in meaningful visualizations and assist customers in understanding their data and information needs.

·      A strong aptitude and interest in data visualization using Tableau (and related technology) is essential.

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

 

This was some of the work done there on Tableau Desktop V9.3

 

·      Build a Flight Path map with curved lines between origin and Destination to exhibit flow of data

·      Used Dashboard Actions  by linking multiple sheets

·      Used  Trigonometric Calculations to plot Latitude and Longitudes on a map

·      Created Cascaded Multi Select Filters  for all Dashboards

·      Created Calculated Fields and Expressions to drive color coding and Display

·      Used Multi Select, Single Select , Radio Button filters that included only relevant values

·      Created  Extract Filters, Data Source Filters, Context filters, Filters on Dimensions, Filers on Measures

·      Created Combined Axis Charts, Combo charts, Geographic mappings, Cross tabs, heat maps, bar charts

·      Built Hierarchies ,Sets ,Groups, Sorted Data sets.

·      Actions created include Highlight actions, Filter actions , URL Actions

·      Used String Functions, Arithmetic Calculations, Aggregation options , Logic Statements  and quick table calculations to manipulate data

·      Published Reports to Tableau Server & SharePoint (Tableau Web part)
