POSITION: java developer

LOCATION: SFO, CA

DURATION:6 months+

 

MUST HAVE EXP WITH GROOVY AND MUST 10 YRS EXP

 

Job Purpose:

Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

·         Excellent programming experience & exposure in Core Java and Groovy concepts, Collections & Threads, JDBC, Swing/JFC & Annotations

·         Excellent and proven experience in OO thinking/design, J2EE design patterns & translating functional requirement using same.

·         Excellent experience in Java for Enterprise (JEE) on one or more of following technologies:

o    JSP/Servlets, JSTL, Tag libraries, JQUERY

o    Spring and Hibernate, REST

o    Enterprise Service Bus(Preferably  Mule) 

o    MYSQL, Mongo DB

o    Writing Unit testing cases using JUnit

·         Web/Application Frameworks - Spring Framework & Hibernate ORM

·         Design and development Web Services using various JEE API like JAX-WS also awareness of WS* standards

·         Strong and excellent exposure in XML and related technologies like XPATH, XSLT 2.0, XQuery, XSD/DTD

·         MYSQL )

o    Strong experience in writing complex SQL, Pl/SQL and trouble shooting them

·         Others:

o    Experience in new production development, deploying and supporting J2EE-based high volume applications for large-scale enterprises

o    Experience with requirements gathering, business analysis and use case designs

o    Strong Experience of working in Application servers like Tomcat or Web containers like Tomcat.

·         Desired (nice to have) experience/skills:

o    Unix shell-scripting
