SCOPE OF WORK:
Background:
CLIENT's Information Technology department has an immediate need for TWO (2) Senior Documentum Developers. The contractors will work with technical staff from the Enterprise Document Management (EDM) team to provide technical development for various projects as well as assist with EDM Information Technology service requests for enhancements of the existing EDM solution.
Details of Work:
This task requires working with CLIENT project teams to design and develop/enhance Documentum based solutions to support various business requirements in accordance with development standards and to assist with resolution of complex technical challenges that may arise during the development, testing, and post-implementation stabilization processes. These developers will also be used to work in sandbox environment on various proof of concepts, pilots and new technologies to be implemented in Dev and migrated to QA system. These contractors will work closely with Analysts to review and implement based on Solution Design Documents developed by EDM team. In addition to excellent Documentum Developer skills, these contractors need good communication skills and analytical ability to work effectively with various CLIENT and vendor staff members who make up the project teams.
Task 1 –
· EDM for EP & Budget Project & E-Payroll: estimate 320 hours For development/testing/implementation of Documentum Object Model, Workflows and transition of work to CLIENT staff
Task 2 –
• Webtop and Content Server Patching and Customizations: estimate 240 hours
• Review release notes, patching in sandbox and Dev, unit/integration testing, resolve compatibility issues, development, complete documentation and transition of work completed to CLIENT technical staff for support
Task 3 –
• IDM & SC Optimization EDM Integration, Revenue Assurance Records: estimate 400 hours
• For development/testing/implementation of Documentum Object Model, content server jobs, and transition of work to CLIENT staff
Task 4 – Webtop Upgrade to 6.8.1: estimate 320 hours
• Review release notes, patching in sandbox and Dev, unit/integration testing, resolve compatibility issues, development, complete documentation and transition of work completed to CLIENT technical staff for support
Mandatory Requirements:
Note: Candidates not meeting these requirements will not be considered.
1. Proposer shall submit a one page statement that describes and summarizes any skills or experience that qualifies the proposed consultants for this specific task release as described in this document.
2. Proposer will provide a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 resumes and hourly rates for each Documentum Developer capable of starting work immediately who at a minimum has the following experience:
ü Must have at least 5 years technical development experience with EMC Documentum tools, platform, and supporting technologies including: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML, EMC Documentum Content Server, Webtop/WDK, DFC, Process Builder for Workflows, Composer, API, and DQL
ü Must have 1 or more years of recent development experience with Documentum Webtop 6.7 and above.
ü Must have 1 or more years of recent development experience with Documentum Content Server 7.0 and above.
ü 2+ years' experience providing technical support, debugging and problem resolution for Webtop and Content Server related issues.
ü 4+ years of experience with Java, XML, JSP and Oracle SQL.
ü Proven ability to work on Solution Design Document to develop Documentum Object Model and provide work estimates with task breakdowns while working independently or as part of a project team
ü Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
· Knowledge of EMC Documentum SharePoint Connector, DTS, Centera Storage and xPlore Index Server
· Experience with EMC Documentum Webtop 6.8 and D2 4.5 Widgets is a plus
· Expertise with UNIX operating systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x, AIX 7.x)
· Work experience with electric utility organizations similar in size and scope to CLIENT
· Experience in integrating with SAP or EMC Documentum DFS is a plus Assumptions
· It is expected that contractor will be working mostly onsite on tasks assigned for development, documentation, code review, unit testing and bug resolution
· Contractor will be able to work offsite as project work allows and contractor will be responsible for providing their own workstation and software when working offsite
· CLIENT resources will review and deploy the development work done by the developer into QA and Production environments as requested by project team
· All work done by the contractor will be completely documented and transitioned to CLIENT developers as each task/deliverable is completed
· Rates provided for this developer contractor will be all inclusive and should be equal to or less than the rates stated in vendor contract with CLIENT for Documentum Developer
