Position: MySQL DBA with AWS RDS exp

Location : Walnut creek,CA

Duration: 6 months

 

Detail JD :       

MySQL DBA profile who is having exposure to below activities i.e. mainly in AWS RDS environment.

MySQL Database administrator preferably worked on MySQL 5.6/5.7

Have exposure to installation, configuration, patching on Linux Environment

Strong proficiency in MySQL database management

Senior DBA who can tune large volume tables, who can help in design the database and preferably who has experience in AWS RDS

User account maintenance

Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases

Database backup/copying and recovery

Support for software updates and upgrades

Experience with replication configuration in MySQL

Preventive maintenance, Crash recovery

Tuning and optimization MySQL Queries

DB maintenance checking and repairing tables

Table repair with missing/damaged index or table description

Expertise on AWS -MySQL RDS environment

Prepare documentations and specifications

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Operating Env- AWS Cloud , MySQL RDS, Red hat Linux.
