Description: Informatica / Teradata Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Length: 6 months

Rate: $40/HR all inclusive

 

Overview:

Large Scale Insurance Company is going through major upgrade and enhancements of their data warehouse and associated technologies.  They are looking for a Developer with hands on experience with Informatica and Teradata.

 

Required Skills:

•             3+ years with ETL tool = Informatica, BTEQ  (Strong)

•             3+ years with  Database platforms = Teradata  (Strong)

•             3+ years with Scripting Language = Shell

•             3+ years of SQL

•             1 year Experience working in an environment using lean/agile practices

•             1 year Code version control tools (e.g. Subversion)

•             1 year Batch job scheduling tools

•             Object Oriented languages are highly beneficial and preferred, but not required.

•             An understanding of systems and data processing policies, practices and procedures

•             Thorough understanding in systems analysis and design techniques

•             Extensive knowledge of the systems development life cycle

•             Demonstrated ability to analyze and program complex applications and systems

•             Experience working in insurance or financial services industry will be a plus
