Position: Business System Analyst
Location: NYC NY
Duration: 6+ Months


Job Description:

• Domain - Annuity.   Experience in any of the following: Traditional Retail and Group Insurance products, Annuities and / or Investments; pre-sales, sales or back office systems (Administration, compensation, web portals, client communications, financial planning tools, billing and payment).

Requirements Elicitation:

• Ability to precisely and consistently capture business and technical requirements
• Working effectively with the business stakeholders, SMEs and solution delivery teams, prioritize all requirements to meet required timelines and most critical needs
• Ability to intelligently question business stakeholders and SMEs to drive completeness in the requirements.
• Can uncover needs that business stakeholders and end users would not be able to articulate on their own by employing various elicitation techniques
• Ability to develop a set of appropriate use cases that support the requirements
• Ability to trace requirements to business process flows

Requirements Management and Analysis:

• Ability to assess the risks of various solution options to different options working with the solution delivery teams
• Accurately translates business requirements into functionality
• Understands business process complexity and translates into effective work units
• Can listen to and understand technological constraints
• Clarifies the business rationale of a solution concept
• Educates developers on a project's business context
• Effectively collaborates with geographically distributed teams

Deep knowledge in technology.

• Ability to understand and navigate the organizational structure to identify and gain access to the appropriate business and technology stakeholders, users and SMEs effectively and efficiently.

Minimum work experience: >7 Years
