Location:                      Dallas, TX

Duration:                      6+ Months

Interview Type:          Phone+ Skype

 

Primary Skills:           ASE 15.7, ASE Installation, EBF and upgrade, backup and recovery, Query troubleshooting and server tuning

 

Job Description:

 

v  Very good in RDBMS concepts

v  Good Exposure with Day-to-day dba activities

v  Exposure to work with ASE 15.7 or higher on Linux

v  Expertise in ASE Installation, EBF and upgrade

v  Exposure with various DBCCs, optdiag, update statistics, MDA etc

v  Expertise in Query troubleshooting and server tuning.

v  Good in backup and recovery

v  Flexible to provide On-Call Support

v  Ability to work independently on multiple tasks

v  Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing

v  Working Experience with netbackup for database backup and restore

v  Good in Unix shell scripting

v  Exposure to work with database developers

v  Good understanding and working knowledge on ITIL Best Practices
