Client is looking for Full Stack Developer located in New York City, NY. This is a Long Term Contract Position and The Hourly Rate is DOE.
Need Strong in Health or Life Science Industry Experience
The Full Stack Engineer in Data Science is responsible for not only programming and architecting the back-end components for data science driven applications, but also is an expert at architecting front end components and interfaces. S/he should be very comfortable architecting for and crafting solutions that work with large volumes of data, and are inherently scalable in nature. The candidate will be responsible for programming and architecting anything from data service web APIs to storage/caching, deployment and business logic that implements machine learning and statistical techniques all the way up to frontend usability and components. The candidate will also work collaboratively with our team of data scientists, business analysts and developers through rapid prototyping cycles.
Your Education & Experience:
5+ years of experience in software engineering, data architecture and statistics.
MS degree in software engineering, statistics or related field preferred.
Medical or Life Sciences industry experience a plus.
For the mHealth project we are actually looking for someone who is stronger in UI development (ie. React, JavaScript frameworks) and also very proficient in a server side language like Java or Rails (would prefer if not .NET).
*Ruby/ Rails framework
