Key skills required for the job are:
This position is responsible for support, maintenance, and administration functions of quality computer systems such as LIMS, Empower, OpenLab, Discoverant, and specific instrument system software. This position works daily with end users, Information Technology, and Validation to ensure full functionality and compliance of each system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform daily administration of quality computer systems
• Initiate and complete system change controls
• Write and update quality system and end user SOPs
• Write/perform test scripts for validated change controls
• Work with end users and IT to troubleshoot system issues
• Perform user training for quality computer systems
• Implement and validate new quality computer systems and system modules
• Maintain full regulatory compliance of each quality system
Job Requirements (Education and Experience)
· BA/BS in science or computer related field or 5+ years equivalent technical working experience
· Experience in a laboratory setting (Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.) with emphasis on quality laboratory processes and practices
· Experience with Empower preferred
· Experience with computer system databases (SQL or Oracle preferred).
· Experience in project management and leadership
· Strong knowledge of 21 CFR part 11 requirements
· Strong critical problem solving and troubleshooting ability
