Role: DevOps Engineer / Build Release Engineer

Location: NYC(Midtown), NY

Duration: 12+

 

Skills:

•           8+ Years of experience in release management and Dev Ops including release , build and Software Configuration Management (SCM). Experience should include SCM, Build/Release Management, and Change/Incident Management.

•           Managed Build and deployments in both PROD and Non-Prod

•           Experience in Team City , Chef and Nulio

•           Hands on experience Sub version, Perforce and GIT

•           Code coverage tools like Sonar

•           Worked on Chef and Puppet for provisioning VMs.

•           Experience in Configuring and deploying to Application servers Weblogic and Websphere

•           Experience writing Shell and Perl scripts to automate the deployments

•           Proposed and implemented branching strategies

•           Experience using RPMs to effectively package the applications for product deployments

•           Experience with build tools Ant and Maven for writing build.xmls and pom.xmls respectively

•           Experience in integrating Unit Tests and Code Quality Analysis Tools like MSTest,JUnit, Cobertura, Clover, PMD, findbugs and checkstyle

•           Experience in using Nexus and Artifactory Repository Managers for Maven builds

•           Administered and Implemented CI tools like - Hudson/Jenkins, Quickbuild, BuildForge and Anthill Pro for automated builds.

•           Experienced in managing continuous integration tools like JIRA,BAMBOO

•           Managed environments DEV, SIT, QA, UAT and PROD for various releases and designed instance strategies

•           Worked in implementing new processes and Continuous improvement

Desired:

•           Knowledge of ITIL Process and enforcer of best practices

•           IB / financial services Experience
