Job Title: Project Manager with Sales Portfolio Area Experience

Location: Eagan, MN

Duration: 12+ months

 

Job Description:

 

·         PM to work in MSP within the IT - Sales portfolio area. This project is a part of a program. Business value of this project is to enable a higher level of service for our corporate accounts travelers and travel agents. Enhance the Business Rules Engine to create the ability to service agency and direct sales waiver requests and exceptions. PM will need to work across multiple IT groups and with multiple business teams (highly cross-matrixed project) to accomplish project objectives. Strong track record managing IT projects

·         Structured methodology knowledge • Ability to build and maintain cohesive motivated teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent planning and organizational skills

·         Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

·         Strong consulting and customer service skills

·         Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.

 

Experience required:

 

·         Need to motivate team to build strong group even when they each have multiple projects they're working Structured Methodology.

·         We use in-house methodology that follows PMBOK. Planning

·         Have a detailed proj sched, know what's important to deliver on project Motivation Busy environment - need to motivate people to work on your project.

·         Knows SDLC, Customer Service Work w/ customers to learn what Bus Value is & then deliver it.

·         Consulting PM that has past contractor positions Communication Strong communication - communicate with IT & Business, lead steering committee meetings Coaching

·         Work w/ on-shore & off shore teams, with other PMs and 1 program manager.
