Network Engineer

Location: Lincolnshire, IL

Duration: 4 m contract

Rate: $52/hr

ONLY GC, USC

 

Must-haves

Seasoned WAN Engineering experience

Large enterprise environment

Experience designing network change processes

VLANs - experience configuring and enabling routing over Layer 3 VLANs

Experience working with redundancy protocols (Spanning Tree)

Exposure to Nexus/Catalyst switches

BGP - experience installing an MPLS network enterprise wide

Knowledge of network security best practices.

Platforms: 2900, 3900, ASR 1000, ASR 9000, 4k router series

 

Plusses

Abbott, AbbVie, Baxalta, HSBC, United Airlines have similar environments so if they've worked at these companies that would be beneficial

Experience designing Nexus/Catalyst switches

CCNP, CCDP
