We have urgent/ Immediate opportunities for Build and Release Engineer in Pleasanton, CA
Role: Build and Release Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: Long-term
Consultant must be have LinkedIn profile
Must have:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in build/release.
• Excellent knowledge of software engineering practices: continuous integration, configuration management, build optimization, build automation, and deployment.
• Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows.
• Have working experience with databases like SQL, Oracle, and application servers like Weblogic, WebSphere, Jboss, etc, and web servers like Apache, IIS
• Proven track record of deploying large, complex implementations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong documenting skills
• Quick learner.
• Familiar with build tools ANT, Maven, Jenkins, and SVN.
Nice to have:
• Strong knowledge of most scripting languages such as Perl, Shell Script, MS DOS batch file, etc
• Excellent knowledge of build tools such as Ant, Maven and Jenkins
• Strong familiarity with software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems, e.g. SVN, Rational tool
• Have experience with building java and C# applications
