Skills : Junior Sybase DBA
Location : Weehawken, New Jersey
- Experience in MSSQL and Sybase
- Carry out patching through DMA tool which does patching server wise for the databases hosted on that server.
- Any issue with DMA agent on the server then we approach manual Patching using SOP.
- Segregate the list of databases version wise and take it for Patching
- Based on Oracle recommendation we apply the latest patch on the database to full fill the audit remediation.
- Perform Prechecks on Server and Database before patching
- After Completion of Patching verify the logs for any failure and fix the failures.
- Do post Patching activity which includes making everything as it is to make service is available for use.
- Get sign off from Application team for any issues reported after Patch.
