Description:
- The Senior Statistical Programmer II will support the cClinical Development teams by:
- Creating / Updating / Supporting / Validating Standard Reporting Macros for Standard tables, listings and figures.
- Support the Shire Statistical Reporting environment (SAS Drug Development).
- Participating in project to install and validate SAS Drug Development 4.6.
- Develop and maintain custom statistical applications.
- Support R and statistical applications.
Key Skills
- Excellent analytical, technical, and computer skills Expert programming ability using BASE/SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS MACROS, and SAS/GRAPH.
- Expert knowledge of CDISC requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, clinical trial methodologies, and FDA/ICH regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
Education:
- Degree and experience in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative analytical field.
- At least eight (8) years of industry related (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO) statistical programming experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- At least six (6) years of industry related experience with a master's degree or above.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a technical leadership role within a statistical programming organization, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO environment.
