Our global team build multi-functional, rich servicing solutions that serve a diverse range of customers across the organization. Our partnership with Salesforce.com, an industry leading PaaS provider, facilitates an Agile and highly responsive development process to meet the demands of the fast paced business environment in which we operate. A successful candidate requires hands on technical experience working with Salesforce.com and a background in distributed web applications development. You will be part of a multi-disciplined, entrepreneurial team responsible for delivering world class customer experience. Excellent problem solving skills are a must as well as an expert knowledge of agile delivery in an enterprise environment. Supporting a global business, you will be required to understand and deliver against a diverse set of business needs as well as providing your own feedback and inputs. Responsibilities: • A core member of an Agile team driving User story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing and build automation tools • Driving continuous improvement in platform structure and quality • Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies • Participating in gate reviews and quality control over product deployments • Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges • Working with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues. Qualifications Experience:
• 6+ years in Software Development
• 2+ years experience of Cloud Technology and an in depth understanding of the primary concepts and terminology
• 2+ years working on Salesforce applications
• 1+ year hands on experience in an Agile development team
• Salesforce certification
• Experience of .Net and JAVA technologies is a plus, as is an understanding of Web Services and integrations using APIs.
• Background in leveraging ETL products and tools (e.g. IBM DataStage, Informatica, etc.) for data management is a plus
• Proven track record in working as part of a team to deliver web applications from analysis through to release Skills:
• Complete understanding of the Salesforce platform and its primary functions.
• Ability to learn new technologies and embrace the challenge learning presents
• A self starter, comfortable talking through requirements in detail with business partners
• Strong and current knowledge of web standards, emerging technologies and trends
• Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems
• Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and written Qualifications: Bachelors and / or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Systems or related field. This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.
