Job Title: SQL Server Database Administrator(Non-H!B)
Deadline: ASAP
Database Administrator with responsibility to work primarily on MS SQL, and hopefully knowledgeable about Oracle & DB2 DBMSs.
Be able to quickly get on board by bringing in past experience in RDBMS skills and strong analytical ability.
Work on a 7X24 oncall rotation basis.
Work with a team of experienced DBAs in a collaborative and supportive manner.
Need to be highly process focused and contribute to lean process development.
High technical skill set is an expectation.
Experience in disk management, performance tuning and troubleshooting will be an asset.
Strong Scripting knowledge in either Powershell or VBScript is desired.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (I.e., MIS, CIS) and at least five years of related IT experience OR at least ten years of related IT experience without the Bachelor's Degree.
Required: solid background and experience in managing MS SQL databases with good working knowledge of Scripting in Windows Environment.
Preferred: Candidates with Knowledge and proficiency with other RDMS technologies and tools like Oracle databases, Db2 , warehousing, TOAD, TWS enterprise scheduler.
